Well the Google accounts system (like OpenID) is supposed to provide distributed authentication, you will notice that the page in which you enter the Google Account login credentials is hosted on google.com This is very cool, even if it is not quite the same as a direct Google Account / OpenID compatibility. I think it's bad having OpenID url with plaintext email address embedded. Otherwise, good idea.
